In 2017, Abe Myers set new D1 discus records at BWHS, the Golden Eagle Relays, the Delaware Elite Eight, and the Ohio Capital Conference (OCC).
He gained 15-20′ from his 2016 season. He also made it to the OCC meet in long jump and competed successfully in the 4×100, 4×200, and 4×400.
Abe won district and regional meets in discus, setting his new meet PR of 178’7″.
He then placed 5th at the Ohio State D1 Track Meet with a throw of 168″8″.
Abe was awarded the “Flying Eagle” and was honored as a Scholar Athlete by Big Walnut High School.
